Hi! I'm April
Your photographer, adventure buddy, and all-around elopement guide.
You're exactly where you need to be.
You’re not just hiring someone to take photos, you’re choosing an experience that’s meant to feel fun, meaningful, and completely yours in every way.
If things shift (because they usually do), you won't have to stress. I’ll adjust, problem-solve, and keep everything flowing so your day still feels easy.
And when it comes to photos, you don’t have to know what to do—I’ll guide you in a way that feels natural. Nothing stiff, nothing awkward, just natural moments that feel like you.
If you’re dreaming of a wedding day that feels effortless and entirely yours—whether that looks like alpine lakes in Glacier, wildflower meadows in Yosemite, or the cliffs of Big Sur...
For couples who want to slow things down even more and turn their elopement into a full experience.
Multi-day coverage allows you to explore multiple locations, include meaningful activities, and be fully present, giving each part of your story the time and space it deserves.
This could look like a ceremony, one or two adventures, and a cozy dinner on day one, followed by a slow morning and a second day doing your favorite activities together.

Eight hours gives your day the space it deserves. From slow, intentional getting ready moments to a meaningful ceremony and portraits that feel natural. There’s room for a first look, time to explore multiple locations, and space to truly soak in the in-between moments, all without ever feeling rushed.
Whether that looks like exchanging vows at sunrise, celebrating with a mountaintop picnic, hiking to epic views, or even celebrating with a few loved ones, this experience allows your day to unfold naturally.

We’re not super outdoorsy…is an adventure elopement still for us?
Yes! You don’t need to be hikers or backpackers to have an adventurous elopement.
There are plenty of stunning, accessible locations that require minimal walking and still feel magical.
Can we bring guests?
Absolutely! You’re welcome to bring up to 15 guests. Just keep in mind that larger groups can limit your location options, but I’ll help guide you to spots that work beautifully.
What if the weather is bad?
Weather is part of the adventure! If conditions are dangerous or extreme, we’ll talk through backup options—like shifting the day or choosing an alternate location.
Otherwise, we embrace it. Moody skies and a little wind can make incredible, dramatic photos
Do you help with permits, locations, and logistics?
100%. I’ll walk you through permits, park regulations, best timing for light, backup plans, weather considerations, everything.
Do you photograph LGBTQ+ couples?
Always, proudly, and wholeheartedly. Everyone deserves to be celebrated and documented with respect and joy.
How far in advance should we book?
The sooner the better! Ideally, we start planning about 6–12 months out so there’s plenty of time to dial in the logistics. But if you’re looking at a shorter timeline, no worries! We can absolutely still make it happen and make it really good.
What if we're awkward on camera or camera-shy?
You’re not alone , almost every couple tells me this! My approach is super easygoing and natural. I guide you through simple prompts, movement, and genuine moments so you never feel stiff or posed. Within a few minutes, you’ll forget the camera is even there and just feel like yourselves. I promise.
Do you travel outside of California for elopements?
Yes! California is home, but I happily travel for couples. Whether you’re dreaming of Yosemite, the Sierras, Colorado, Montana, the Dolomites or beyond, I’m there.
